Service Description
If it is evident that tongue-tie division (frenulotomy) will aid breastfeeding for you and your baby this can be carried out following the assesment, it is a quick procedure dividing the restricted frenulum with sterile scissors, this will take 1-2 seconds. Please note that an adult will need to be present to assist supporting baby's shoulders during the procedure. *Please do not feed your baby for two hours prior to the appointment.
